Master Key Suites

Master Key Suites are a series of lock cylinders purposely built to work in conjunction with each other. They offer control over the movement of people within a building or buildings to provide security and accessibility to the user.

We generally recommend using a restricted key system as this is more secure, meaning authority and rights are required before keys may be reproduced, giving control to the owner.

We are able to offer several different restricted key systems along with non restricted if required.

How Master Keys Work

Master suites work much like a family tree. At the top you have the Grand Master Key, this key will open everything on the suite. You then have the Sub Master keys which are the master keys for individual sets of locks. Then you have the individual differ keys as per the diagram above.

Levels of Use

It is possible to have additional sub levels added to this. You can also have rooms on the same differ keys. It is also possible to add common entrance doors. These are all elements we can look at when we design your individual suite.

The Benefits

Having a master key suite can benefit you by giving you a high level of key control & security, it will also minimize the amount of keys you need to carry and would help you to access your site or sites conveniently. You can also limit access to other users so they are only able to access the areas you require them to.

Specialist Cylinders

By using high security cylinders we are giving you a better level of security. Using restricted keys enables you to keep tabs on all the keys you have in circulation further enhancing the security of the building. Security keys cannot be duplicated without the proper authority.

We provide a suite design service including a complete site survey. We can supply and fit the locking hardware and are on hand to provide additional keys & cylinders once the master suite has been installed. We can also supply architectural hardware as required.
